TREE CLIMBER FOR HIRE

Overseas sponsors... The government seems to keep us all apart. I'm reading up on what it takes to sponsor a person, as I just became aware of this option. Bixler Tree does qualify to become a sponsor and I feel as it the right thing to do with the right person (Benn Draper/ Ben -Stihlmadd). Ben(n)'s rock.

If anyone has any info on the matter feel free to share. Tax repercussions, legal liability, costs etc...

I'm going to check in with my local immigration office to get some answers. :tonto:

...and yes, MacSwan, a library of footage is what I'm looking for in a resume.

Thanks for posting this sentiment, Bixler. Maybe there really is a purpose to shooting video, and trying to get good at it, beyond just sharing it on the forums. It never occurred to me that it might be all the resume anyone needs to see.

Bixler a lot of companies here now sponsor climbers on work visas to people who want the experience of working overseas for several years and are already fully trained.
difference in oz is limited trained staff pool to draw from so that has led to a proliferation of what we commonly call imports.

Brian,
im very interested. i have been doing tree wrecking as a hobby in my off season, probably done around 50 trees. i live in humboldt and my lady and i just had a kid so im looking to change careers (commercial fishing to trees). i could probably drive down tues or wed, if your interested pm me and ill call you and we can talk.
i have a good amount of gear as well as 1m in liability

Flex, I appreciate the inquiry. I am looking for seasoned and experienced climbers. Only those who have similar experience to myself, capable of the work shown in our videos. We are looking for a production based tree climber.

By law, liability insurance only comes into play for sub-contractors who carry a State Contractors license on jobs over $500 -- we are looking for an employee to join our staff, which falls under our workers' comp coverage.

Keep at it, stay safe and I'd like your contact info as we love to visit your neck of the woods!

Brian,
thanks anyway, i remember when you first started posting on here and have followed your work. looks like you have really advanced quickly over the last few years which is fantastic and inspirational. i will keep plugging away up here, this summer i think ill stay off the ocean and refine my skills. really wish i would have taken the time to film my last removal as 3 of the 5 trees required rigging, it would have been a nice first video
