Tree Austria 3

It's awsome. I have been climbing in it for awhile now and have only one complaint. Thats the stitching on the bridge. Other than that it is an awsome saddle. Highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new saddle!

I wonder, if I get one if it'd make me a better climber?

Nah! None of the famous guys use it, so there is no if I buy it I can be like him. Only Drayer, and since he can't seem to catch on to the fact bridges need to be replaced or adjustable. It's kind of stuck.

I guess I never looked. You couldnt mod a new bridge on it somehow? When the Butterfly I first hit the scene, the bridge wasnt intended to be replaced, but most found a way around that.

Thats just what I like to do sure others do also. Pay 400$ for a saddle to knife peices off so I can mod it.

First thing i do is lose the weight where possible, and mod to make it PERFECT for me.

To be a better climber you have to think outside the box the saddle comes in!

Whatever it takes! When I bought all 3 of my Butterfly I's, that was the first thing I did before climbing in them. Cut off the stock bridge, and fab up a new one.

Cool I stand corrected then have at it. You should understand though that, if ya fall out the tree. Your Bosses insurance might not pay if they find out you changed the way the saddle was made, and they can prove it

You DO care!

Had a chance to try this saddle on New Years Day. Only about ten minutes hang time but enough to fall in love. On my return to the ground the owner asked "Well how do you like it?" I said "wow, I completely forgot!", it's THAT comfy, I didn't even feel it.

Lightweight, super comfy, no pinch points, durable construction, four stars overall, an excellent upgrade to the TA1. (haven't had a chance to try the TA2)

That little hangup with the bridge stitching IS an issue to be dealt with but personally I wouldn't have a problem with replacing it with some Velocity or 10ml Beeline. It is defititely replaceable, unlike the TA1 or say your Weaver or Buckingham sliding Dee type saddle.

i climb on the Tree austria 2, its a great working harness! it is kinda of sucky about the bridge not being replaceable, ive only had mine a year so its still good but i would be keen to see some mods that others have done.
