I recall Guy Muillier (sp?) talking about decompacting something something affected tissues.

I removed 2 opposite-sided 2x6s lag-bolted, with opposite-sided 2x6s lag bolted one layer of framing higher.

2 parellel flats below with 2 parellel flats above, set 90⁰ to the first.

I can't conceptualize a method for decompressing something like that, but I would love to know what to tell people as well. That was a lot more attached there than I thought. That explains the size of the flat spot below the obvious board 'hole'
