I have a '99 f-450 dump truck. Currently running 225/70r19.5 but found a full set of 245/70r19.5 for only 400$. Anyone else running these on a similar truck? Are they going to be too wide for the duals in the rear and rub?

A FULL set of 6 for $400??? If they are in good condition you could probably resell them for more if they didn't work... Help pay for the new ones!. Last summer I put 6 (225) brand new on my 550 at a price tag of $2,400:envidioso

Sheez, my p/u truck tires cost me more than that! But, I drive through the woods and over some really sketchy trails. I run 265/70R17's with several layers of Kevlar. They are more than you could ever imagine! Almost $1,000/ea, with mounting and balancing. I know it's crazy, but I don't ever want to change a tire in the middle of the forest and mud/snow! I know impertinent to your dilemma, but if you can get them for $400, and they have a lot of tread on them, or brand new? Buy them Bad Boys! You can always resell them @ or above cost! Not a problem worth getting all worked up over. Sounds like a great deal. [emoji106]

Seller has had them on Craigslist for 2 months. I sheared of my lug nuts and lost one side of my duals earlier this month and both flew off the highway into our river canyon. It was an exciting way to start the morning. To get the truck home I stole some of the lugs and one wheel from the passenger side and crippled her home 5~ miles. Just wrapped up crabbing and time to get myself in tree mode.

Congrats on the little ones. They are so worth it. Treat them well now, since they will probably be taking care of you when you're old.

Oh yeah and that's a crazy way to loose some wheels.
