I do not say this often but why not use a crane on that one. Don't get me wrong I love a technical removal myself just curious. Good work though and spot on dumping the stem at the end.

Yes on many occasion I get to a job and say where the hell is the crane, but there just isnt the money on the estimate to pay for it. People are so cheap and its so cut throat that the gaffer just bids to get the work. Big shame!

Nice work! I would definitely be calling in a crane on that one though. Just too close for my comfort. The way I look at it the crane will make you money unless you are an hourly employee. Instead of two days, that could be a half day with the crane. Charge the same, crane guy gets his half day rate and go make money elsewhere the next day.

Anyway, great job nonetheless. Must've been a hell of a pucker factor when that log swung close to the house!
