throw line

how many of you like the 2.2zing it or do you like the 1.75 which seems to become a mess in a throw bag.i need cube for the mess or a new bag.what are you using for your throw line storage?

I use the 1.75 with a cube for storage. My cube doesn't have a pocket for the ball. But if you get a cube, I would recommend getting one with a pocket. On, mine the ball slides around and sometimes tangles the line up in the cube. I should maytbe take the ball off...

The 1.75 is slightly harder to grip when throwing, and cuts the hand some when pulling you line through (especially on a natural crotch).

I think your right about ball tangling the line in the cube,my buddy use's a slip not when throwing the small line.

I use the 1.75 zing-it line.I have not had any trouble with it however if you throw the bag around a lot it will tangle up.I have also had good results with taking the end of the line and hooking it to the ring on the out side of the bag.

I choose to wind the Zing on a 9" diameter hoop reel used by kite fliers or hand casting fishermen.

My main throwline has probably 150' of 1.75mm with a 180' tail of 2.2mm.

As a rule, I perfer 1.75mm, and I presently use a New Tribe line mug. Next time I place an order I will have Cubes.

Rhino Line (2.0 mm), then 2.2 Zing-It, then 1.75.

I use 1.75mm ZI almost exclusively with an 8oz bag. Usually I'll throw with the 8, let it come down, clip on another 12, then bring that up for finnagling the throwline through the canopy to the desired crotch.

I keep a 12 on the back end and it's just used for finnagling.

I now have a 2.2mm ZI that I stole from lumberjack. I'll use it for something one day!
