The new lazer cut polesaw blades at Sherrill

Has anyone tried the ones with the hook tip? We have been through 3 blades in a week. They seem dull right out of the package. These are made in china just like the new porta wrap. The old blades would last a couple of months.

Which Portawrap is made in China? is it the stainless?

First time using it, we broke the improved butt plate that stops the porty from injuring the tree. Snapped the rivets clean off. To Japan, I mean they do make samurai swords, and those things cut through anything.

Eclipse isn't half bad. I have one spoke that kind of pops out of its once in awhile, but its an easy fix and still no spoke poking through after being chucked around for 3 months and it cost me 60 bucks. Better than paying 114 bucks for Sherrills advancement of the throw cube that blows spokes out in the first month. Garbage. China > Sherrill in throw line storage.

i feel violated i want to send my stainless porty back where it came from. so that's what they are doing with all the steel they been buying up from America in the last several years. sending it right back. whats left from building more battle ships.

Lazer cut polesaw blades...they suck. Flimsy, bend easy, do not cut well. Spend the extra $ and go Turbo or something similar quality. Thought the price was to good to be true.

Sherrill has lost me as a customer. I think they do a great job promoting arboriculture but are becoming the walmart of tree care supplies. I have had nothing but trouble lately ranging to rope bags that tear apart within 2 weeks of use to sub-par customer service. If I do sub-par work I hear about it from my customers. I gave them a chance to make it right but got the runaround. When you spend a few thousand dollars a year they should take care of you. I have 10 of their blades but have yet to open a package and I'm not looking forward to it. Be safe.
