the guy said...

"It's in the back yard; you can't miss it". And so it was; 7' across waist high and probably 10' at roof level. He's having trouble getting tennants so he wants it out of here. He says don't worry about grinding the stump just get it down below the roof. How does a cottonwoood seed ever get this big?

No crane access at all? Whats the closest you could get to it? Is there no front yard or driveway over that house? how will you get the wood out from the back yard? Can you get a spider lift or bucket truck to it?

Room to bomb huge leads?

9K sounds a bit high, but with the wires and proximity to the house, and no crane, best to shoot high.

2 climbers, 3 groundies, 3 days, dump fees, time lost for sending full trucks to dump... Yeah, maybe 9K is a good price.

we are one man and a little girl; it will take us over a month

there won't be any service drops-that I know of. the wires will just be worked around. The neighborhood is loaded with trees so we couldn't get a side view. the tree is right against the house so half of it is over the house

how long will it take you? How big is your crew?

probably two weeks; our crew (two to five) comes and goes depending on when they have been paid

I cant see from here, but find it hard to imagine that a crane wopnt be able to get to it.

How will you be removing the wood from the backyard if you arent using a crane? you cantr exactly put a 7' piece of cottonwood on a ball cart/wheel barrow
