The Art and Science of Practical Rigging VHS Box Set!

RyanCafferky

Been here a while
If you and your co workers are rigging like you are in the dark ages this video series will get you rigging like a bad ass in the early 2000s! This ain’t your modem Pfannerman shit. No rings, no beautifully made DMM blocks. Just men being men. Actually, I have no idea what is on these tapes. For all I know it is Hillary and Trump making out. Who has a VHS player anymore? Not this guy. I live in a cabin in the woods and only turn on the inverter when I need internet like right now when I’m trying to hook you up with the video series your wife will really hate more than your other video collection. This one has zero chance of turning anyone on.

Whoever pays shipping gets it.

Your post is bringing back memories. One weekend in 2003, I spent a weekend rewatching the video series instead of hiking with my dog in the mountains above Lyons as we had been doing all summer. She didn't appreciate the change and when I returned from work on Monday, the videos were spread all over the room and one of the cassettes was destroyed.
I learned a lot from the videos and did all of the training sessions except Advanced Rigging. The Arbormaster crews should get more love from the industry if you ask me

Not for nothing but I believe the entire series is on youtube.

I'm curious if the vhs are the same as whats on the YT playlist.

You make a very compelling sales pitch. Alas no VHS.

Maybe they could be a traveling library/share, obviously for those interested with VHS capabilities….? Pay for shipping, view them, post up for the next person….. The Jerry Beranek series was pretty awesome, and still relevant when I watched them a few years back. I’m sure even a seasoned vet could glean knowledge from both series.

That's a good idea.

I have his "working climber" set on DVD - 3 series, each a few DVDs long. Probably 15ish hours of content? I'd be willing to lend that out for shipping cost.

I thought they were terrible... saying we're going to make a series about rigging and only use the tape from the removal we are doing on this 1 day. total garbage.... and a rip off too.

It's not... the YT vids are much more comprehensive... still a bunch of boy scouts.. ie.. making wing cuts on a dead oak limb...
