Those were all good rebuttals Tom and actually quite disturbing however I cannot find it and the only one that I think might top that Lionel Ritchie Video would be Thriller.
Ther iun turn I will take 60% of that 5g just because i am not dismissing your overly exuberant participation. oh and that;'s what she said.
 
Flock of Seagulls is more representative of the 80's than Lionel Ritchie any way you slice it. The rest was just pouring it on.

If your 80's were filled with Lionel and MJ that's cool. Get yourself an egg and beat it.

FOS is an excellent representative of the early 80's and over all launch of MTV. I was refferring to the 80''s as a decade and the most poular Music vid of the 80's. Tis is an excellent topic to debate upon. The Thriller Video as with the lionel Ritchie videos will inflict more memories than just a grunt followed by 'That was so 80's" Now as for the total inflection of immediatly remembering the absolute lameness of the 80's I think that jim 454 came in close with the Party all the time video featuring eddie and the totally wicked Rick James. another absurd video was made when Don Johnson attempted to launch a music career and also that putrid song by the late Patrick Swayze "She's like the wind". Go ahead and hum it all night now that you have it in your head.
