Thanks to John over at Knot and Rope!!

Just wanted to do a quick post thanking John at Knot and Rope Supply!!! I got my new 150' Tachyon that I asked for and the splice is the best I have seen from a rope supplier!!! I also liked how the other end is shrink wrapped and the end is slightly melted to keep all fibers together!!

Great job Knot and Rope, and you can be sure we'll be ordering more from you!!

You can't go wrong with John. He is a super great guy.

Why don't you marry him?

I had to get to that before Chris over at the Limbwalker's could.

Well now you just got to get it out and climb on it.

I did just that and wow, it is a very nice rope!!! I felt like I got a better bite with my feet when fl'ing, and combined with my new Hitch Climber and 10mm Bee Line, it was a blast!!! Very nice rope and the splice worked out nicely!!

It's a nice rope. IMO it doesn't last long enough, regardless if you run natural crotch or through a friction saver. I'm still contemplateing what rope to buy next. I can't get my head off of the velocity line. I'll to through john for that as well. Then I'll ask him to marry me.

Tachyon will milk a bit, and with the end melted together the cover cannot seperate from the core, and it will not milk off, just bunch up. You may need to cut the end off, and remelt it after its been milked.
