Thanks GIVING!!

Our company has decided to "go out on a limb" this year for the holidays. We decided that this week in Nov. (23-27) since we will only be working mon-wed. We would just take the jobs already scheduled.....completely random I might add....and give the work away for free. Our way of giving back to the community that has given us the work we have. We given the customers a letter stating our idea and the option to give the money to a local charity or whomever they think deserves it. Today was the first day we put this into action. WOW!!! I can't even begin to explain the joy it brought to see our 1st customer light up when we told her that her $1200 job was a gift. This isn't even the best part...she turned around and wrote a check for $1800 to a charity we'd recommended. An amazing idea that is being payed forward. I hope more people in our industry can do something like this for your community!!

man thats great. must me nice. my company gives only to the big chiefs. they have been busy stealing our benefits as well. I like to volunteer my time on weekends for local non profits.

Thanks for the offer! I'd be there in a heartbeat if I was down there. Right now I'm working up in Lisle, so it'd be a little bit of a drive. Next time I'm home, the folks still live in G-town, I'll let you know and we can work something out.
