Terex vs. Altec

Our terex with the elevator (which is a rear mount). Is set up across the rear of the platform. It leas us a nice space to stack plenty of 4x8 mats. All the altecs I see are front to back taking up a lot of space which does not look ideal for mats.

We're limited to 3x8' mat on our altec, due to toolbox configurations. Just had to have the joystick and hydraulic pump replaced on a 1.5 year old truck. Of course, they wouldn't warranty either of them. Warranty on boom and lift(which will see far more abuse), but not on the hydros, go figure.

Yikes! Just shady business. For what we paid for our bucket it makes me sick to think about broken parts after 18 months of use, and the company saying.....sorry? I'm not sure where the pride and quality have gone, but both are becoming harder and harder to find.
