After I got my bookshelves built and loaded up with all of my books I sat and looked at what was 25 orange boxes worth of books. Which ones would go with me if I could only have two boxes of books? Of course, all of my signed books, Shigo's would be the first in the box too.

I met Dr. Shigo at one of his last seminars at the Sugar Shack here in N.H. thanks to Tim Walsh and I'm very greatful that I had the oppurtunity.

I will nerver forget it.

I love that one "Tree Pithy Points".... I too am lucky to have his signature on that one. Its just a signature though, but one I'm happy/lucky to have. Its where I got my sig from. Sorry I never got the chance to meet him in person.

Alex always had something clever to add to his signature...

Like so many good things in life , once their gone they are gone forever....

Thanks Alex and family for all of your hard work and dedication to trees!

The world will forever be a better place....
