tcia show tried and true

Finally made up a couple of rope guides as seen at the show - actually from Marhk and Todd's discussion - also am using a new lanyard as Todd displayed. Hopefully the pics will work - if they do thanks to woodlandtc.

Viewscaping, Your pictures are huge plus they are saved a as a bitmap and not jpeg so every picture you are posting is in the 15 to 20 megabyte rang. So, it would be best to save all your pictures for the buzz in a jpeg format and drop them down to atleast 1024x768 if not 800x600 that should make the pictures a much, much smaller FILE size and would not stretch the page and load much faster.

Here is one of your pictures resized and in a jpeg format and is only 154kb vs 20mb.

Whats happening in that second picture? I understand the small prussic on the line, but how is it connected to the end of the flipline? Usually I do this by clipping the snap on the end of my flipline to the prussic, but the snap in the picture is hanging loose?

yes i know - this was how TODD showed it in the show. I have passed my snap through the prussic but didn't feel overly comfortable with it and attached the snap to the prussic. I know some would disagree with this also.

If you get rid of the large AL ring and use a large HMS biner you can just unclip the FC when it's time to change locations instead of untieing your rope. that makes resetting a breeze!
