TCIA Aerial Rescue video

I finally got to see the video today, was wondering who else had watched it and what your thoughts were. I have the additional resources material and plan on going through them next week.

I have had the video since ISA EHAP workshop in St. Louis. I think it is a vast improvement over the old video. It seems that almost all topics are covered and pretty much every climbing style. The aerial rescue of an anchored climbing system is a must IMO.

Great job TW and staff!

The video is a HUGE improvement over the 1989 tape!

You'll have to buy the DVD from TCIA.

There are pieces of equipment that are used in the video that companies may not use. That won't make a difference. Using the scenarios as talking points by stopping the play and discussing how each crew would react is a better plan.

just purchased the video for my ehap recert. all of my crew and myself will see it thursday after our cpr class. im actually looking forward to it, only problem is im the only one on the crew that owns any gear and no one can come up and rescue me if im in trouble, lucky me i climb ddrt off of srt.

Watched it today... Improvement from previous video... Our group did pick up things that we would do differently or in different scenarios. Brought up some good discussion and debate in pause time. Overall we liked it, good tool that helped us bring more ideas, clarification and thought onto an important subject.

we saw it at school for our EHAP course it was pretty good...never seen the old one but the new one is very good at showing all the ways and techniques.
