TAZ LOV3

Im mostly interested if they've widened the "sweet spot" any to make it actually usable for working. With the version 2 it was a 2-hander, couldn't modulate the handle alone well enough for safe one hand lowering.
I can tell from the photos I've seen the sit back will be the same as the 2 (a lot, but predictable).

Peter DeVries has one and has posted several photos and thoughts on his IG.

(I don’t climb much, but almost always SRT, rope walking with foot and knee ascenders when I do.)
I love the TAZ LOV2. Using it on Fly type rope I can, with care, descend one handed, and with two hands it’s as smooth and controlled as could be desired. (I’m about 100kg - 220lbs with gear.)
This is super news for me as I was intending to get a second LOV for for positioning, in any case, as it works very well as a RADS device also. The new functionality of staying connected while getting on and off the rope looks great.

Thanks Tuebor.

Been very curious about the device, but with its generally poor reviews from workers, not curious enough to buy it. Hopefully they got a winner with the 3.

Some stiff competition among single rope work positioning these days, but looks like it’s got some unique qualities.
