TAZ Lov2 video

Somewhat curious about the two rope option that was only lightly touched upon. So, if I heard correctly, in a sketchy tree I can run a bail out line to a bomber tie in and still work a normal canopy tie all off the same device?

You can use the Lov 2 as a descender AND fall arrest, it has both certification but you will need two devices to run both options. Sorry that wasn’t so clear in the vid.

Gotcha. No worries. It wasn’t the focus of the video. If I had to get two, buying two of these is cheaper than two of any other device.

Thanks for the response. It looks like a pretty smooth device. I've been looking into trying SRT for a little bit and thinking about what device or devices to try. Your video puts it high on my list. I like the idea of going all mechanical so that I have consistent friction. Since I've been looking at Mechanical Devices I've grown quite fond of the idea of not having to mess with friction hitches anymore.

It seems to decend well without the wrench, I don't understand what the benefit of the wrench would be in this application. I've not used either one yet, just theorizing as I plan to spend next week's profits.

That's what I was thinking as a possibility. With the wrench on it you could completely unload the lov2 without going into total free fall?
