tallest trees in Scotland

A while ago someone mentioned something about the tallest tree/trees in Scotland. Could someone help me find the link please. My bro is going there on his honeymoon and he wants to check out Scotland's finest.

Where exactly is he going?

The tallest tree is a Douglas Fir - Dughall Mor, which means 'big dark stranger' in Gaelic, its the tallest tree in Scotland, if not in Europe - 210 ft.
Its at Reelig Glen, near Inverness, about 3 hours north of Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Perthshire is the place to go to see some of the biggest/tallest trees in Scotland. Scone Palace and The Hermitage north of Dunkeld are worth a visit. They're both only about an hours drive north of Edinburgh and Glasgow.

If he wants to see a huge variety of trees - Edinburgh Botanic Gardens.
