Everyone goes on about testing, I use countless dyneema, vectran, kevlar aramids in my stuff, I know all the strengths, so breaktests are just something people put their faith in.

My faith is different, because I already know the answer, youtube '8mm viper' the last snap you hear is the vectran breaking.

Not that I wont test it, its just I want to sell the technique and let them crack on.

A breaking point is not the sum of the parts, it's the weakest link. You don't "know" jack shit without something to back it up, you "believe" it. If your new splice is actually better and safer then you should prove it. If you "know" it's strong enough than you shouldn't be afraid to test it.
And by the way, you'll be a hell of a lot more likely to sell it with some data to back up your claims.

I know, thanks for the comment, just want them to get in touch.

I don't know how you are attempting to get Teufelberger to contact you. If it was me, I would be calling and asking to speak to an engineer or emailing Teufelberger customer service and request the name and email of a splicing engineer and emailing that person photos of the splice with break test results.

You are on drugs if you think Teufelberger is going to call you. I council anyone reading this guys writing to realize that he does nothing but talk trash. I wouldn't use one of his products if it was the last thing on earth.

You tested it,?thats laughable bro. I have offered to test your crazy off-spec splices for free... nothing in the mail.

Tuttle is nothing but a troll, he spouts off things that are untrue, unrealistic, and just downright laughable.

Please dont put any stock in anything he says. Teufelberger has some of the best engineers and most stringent testing in the world. There work is second to none and un-reproachable by the likes of tuttle.
