I am fortunate to work with an excellent crew: when I got to the ground everything had been chipped; apart from the spar blocks the place was spotless and all approaches from the neighbor looking for a freebie had been skillfully deflected. There was barely time to stick my head under the garden tap and roll a smoke and we were ready to go.

Incidentally, there was very little of what I did in that tree that was not a replication of what our `contract climber`/ Reg Coates has been showing us for years.
 
just out of curiosity, did you use a balancer with those first few branches in the video or were they just tied perfectly at center balance? I thought i saw a second rope around those branches but couldn't really tell.

Hi Phil. I must admit, I`ve never actually seen a `balancer` in real life.
I just copy what Reg does.
