Swivel to fit 2 Revolvers?

Feel like I've wasted your time slightly gents... 2 Revolvers on the Ring does work (duh - shoulda tried it first, too busy...); I'll just use that for now, the swivel can wait... Hopefully others may find some value in this thread.

Hmm... maybe put a Petzl Ring Open on a Rock Exotica NanoSwivel...

I'd like someone to prove me wrong (especially as I have a nano) - but the internet tells me that the Ring Open is too large to fit in the small Nano hole.

It might be... but I'm thinking I stuck a RE Pirate 'biner in the Nano, and it's pretty fat. I'll have to try it. I have one of the old style rings, I don't think the diameter of the aluminum stock changed, just the opening width. Mine might not fit just because the opening isn't wide enough. Well, a stainless bow shackle will certainly work, though... I've had a 3/8" stainless shackle on the Nano, before. Just throwing ideas around.

Hey Buddy, wasting time by asking questions is like saying you asked a stupid question, which we all know that the only thing that's stupid, is not asking the question to begin with. There's no such thing as a stupid question. We're here to help and support one another to improve our techniques and abilities. So, ask away! The worst answer you should expect is "No, you can't borrow my wife!", that's if I had one. HaHaHa...

Ideas always good. Still clinging to hope a Rock Exotica Rotator Round Large Swivel may work (might have to email treestuff). Failing that - there are plenty of options between Petzl Swivel/Ring Open + Dmm's new swivels.

Here's a pic of what I think you mean.

That's excellent Dave - but can you rotate the biners the other way? - In particular what's it like hanging one straight in the middle of the swivel (24mm up/down in hole)?

I'm assuming that the non-lockers will have the same size lower end (pulley end) as the auto-lockers (what I have)?

Thanks!

Yep, the base of the revolvers are identical. Also, you can rotate the Biner 180*s & the roller rides perfectly on the swivel. I'm at a total loss of why you want to set the revolver in that configuration. I'm just trying to show you options since I have all of the gear you want to attempt to accomplish. Best of luck, to ya!

Hate to bother you again Dave... - Only now have I just realised that the Rock Exotica Orbital Swivel too has an eye at 24mm height (the same height as the Rotator Large). According to monkeylove the Revolver Pulley end does not fit in the Orbitor; 'The answer to both swivels is no, I tried it a minute ago. My Rock swivel is a no way to even get 1 in. The large DMM vs roller end, not vertically so no. Other end similar to locking on a ring so the pulley isup, still no really. It would fit but it is not smooth flowing and very easy to lock up on the joint. Also a big no in my book. I also want to know "Why"?'

Can you just double check for me that just one Revolver can completely rotate in the 'up/down' configuration of the swivel (as if I were just clipped in on one revolver on the pulley end)?

Always appreciate it.

Sure does Dave - many thanks. monkeylove probably just meant that as soon as you try to orient the Revolver Pulley end sideways in the Orbitor it will get stuck. Pics always explain it best. Thanks
