Super deal on (40)12\" orchard ladders $100

Heads up to Washington/ Oregon folks.

There are (40) 12' ladders available on Craigslist in Yakima Washington.

I don't have any plans of going over there, unless I got a truckload for people that wanted to get deal on some ladders.

I could probably fit 10 or so in my pick-up.

Just a thought. Any interest?

Sounds like an orchard is closing up shop or replacing their fleet of ladders.

My dad and a friend are interested in the ladders. All together, we'd like two.
Are you still interested in driving over there? We'd be happy to give you $20 gas money, or something like that.

Posting is gone. Maybe they sold them.

If they were Tallman, they were probably worth $80 apiece if they had many seasons of use on them. Homeowners will often pay more because they don't know where to buy them.

As long as the rungs or pole are not bent, and if they had just a few season's use, $100 sounds like a decent deal.

mdvaden, the ladders are still available. My dad talked to the seller yesterday.

southsoundtree, if my dad was to go get the ladders himself, would you be interested in having him pick some up for you, and share the cost of fuel?
