Sup?

I haven’t played much online, I should give it a shot, there’s tons of apps. I’m not very good, but I have fun. Still got the standing offer of 100$ cash prize if I can beat my dad. That money would’ve gone a lot further when he first offered it to my brothers and me in 1985 lol. He’s a fanatic about it, he used to play tournaments and still gets Chess Life magazine.
 
I learned chess at a young age, was into chess instead of checkers. Pretty fun game. One of my family members bought me a nice glass / frosted chess set when I was kid.
 
Yard work all day tomorrow if it's dry enough and then I fly a late flight to LAX. Layover in downtown Long Beach Sunday then fly the red eye flight back at midnight, getting home Monday just after sunrise.

Sounds like a nice time, at least if you like Long Beach and night flights.
 
I didn't get washed away this past Tuesday when we got just shy of 7" of rain in less than 12 hours. Finally got to try out my new RRP in a tree today. Climbed a tree in my backyard to retrieve a big gold mylar balloon that landed 70' up.20210507_175905.jpg
 
Yeah, I got to drive through that monsoon up there. Looks like I am going to get a bit of a break from the weekly trips to UAB. Some time when I'm up there we ought to get together.
