This is my first ever post after stalking the board for over 2 years. So I will make it a good one!

!!!!!SAVE THE DATE!!!!! JUNE 21-22

The Summer Splicing Symposium 2012 will be held in Rockville, Maryland

This event is shaping up to be the best one yet!

Sign up fast or send me a PM letting me know you are interested so I can save you a spot.

Class size will be limited to 25 people.

Tempting, Very Tempting. very Bummed I couldn't make it down to Georgia this past spring to go to the One OldOak had in his neighborhood.

June's a tough time for us though...busy,busy,busy.
 
Sorry Pat. The best one was the one that didn't happen here in March. That ok though, I blame it on the easy winter everyone had. I'll just wait til we get a winter that is colder than a witch up north, then guys will beat a path down here to the warm. Would truely like to make it up, but I think I'll wait til we have one here. By the way, we have bigger trees.

Even after a last minute venue Change and a 100 degree plus heat index in a "slightly" Air conditioned Shop!

Everyone showed up!
Everyone finished there splices!
Everyone Loved not having the same old Dominos pizza for lunch!
Everyone learned a ton about splicing and took home some sweet gear they spliced!

last but not least everyone had a blast and wants to know when the next one will be!

sorry I don't have any pics. I was knee deep in splicing every minute of the two days. Yet I know somebody had to be taking some. So post them if you have got them folks!

I know for sure this class was very useful and eye opening for all who attended. Everyone of every skill and experience level gained something form the class.

A special thanks to Rich H and Josh J. You Guys made it happen dispite the heat and slightly shaky log work bench.
I heard nothing but good stuff form all of the attendees.You are truly masters of your Craft and excellent Instructors. Thanks again!

Also a huge Thank You John H for making all of this possible, dispite not being able to get out here for this one!

I look forward to seeing you all at the next one.
