How about an index or database to find info in old threads? I'm specifically looking for the one that discusses cleaning Poison Ivy from my ropes and gear. I just got done cleaning about two pickup loads of the stuff out of a 22"d.b.h. Black Walnut, it's a much happier tree now. I used duct tape around my pants and shirt cuffs, disposable long sleeve shirt duct taped around the waist and neck. Sort of a homemade environmental suit,worked great ,Red Green would have been proud.

Yuch! I'm glad that the PI in MN never got bigger than 2' tall, no vines. Seems to be the same here in CO.

Did you try the Search feature to find "cleaning ropes" or "poison ivy" ?

Raven what did you ever figure out for doing that? I am trying to get it out of my flip line and lanyard currently?
