I am going to be replacing the 1 1/" wheel on my Carlton 7500. We have always used green teeth. Has anyone used this as well as the sandvick wheel? I would like to know opinions.

I went from Green Teeth to the Revolution Wheel on my RG85.

The Green Teeth cut faster, although I haven't used the Saber Tooth which should increase the Revolution's performance at the cost of tooth life.

Tooth life/maintenance is far longer on the Revolution than the Green Teeth by a factor of 3-4+.

All in all I'm happy enough that I would do it again.

Have used standard and greenteeth. Greenteeth sprayed chips everywhere and we were always raking them out of the yard/roof 30-40 ft from grinder. Ditched them and got Sandvik (sp) on new grinder 7015. Much better cutting and chips remain close to the work. They also seem to last longer. Hope this helps.

My Carlton dealer said the same thing about the chips not getting flung as far with the Sanvik wheel. Helps with the cleanup quite a bit I understand. He also boasted a solid 20% increase in productivity over standard teeth. I don't have one so I can confirm that.
