Stump grease and laser guided stilts

I thought it would be funny to go around and say what fictional items you ask the new guy to go get you in the truck. Where I'm working now its either the laser guided stilts, the liquid nitrogen (for freezing the base of the tree before felling it of course) and stump grease. When I worked labor for a masonry company it was all about sky hooks and brick stretchers.

Have you showed him the "dragon bowline" "running bowline" or "walking bowline"? Also one of my favorites, the left handed crescent wrench?

I got nailed with a pipe stretcher when I was working road construction.

I like the humdinger or beaut knot. I don't have to try to mess with my ground guys. I tell them to put the chain back on the bar or to put on the bigger bar and chain and it never gets done.

After taking down dead elms all day, I turned to the new guy and told him what a great job he did. As an aside, I asked him, "You did get your vaccination for Dutch Elm disease right?" He said no and started looking concerned. Myself and crew got real serious and debated if we should call 911 or try to take him to the hospital ourselves. He was white at this point. We pointed out symptoms include rectal bleeding, brain damage and loss of virility. We kept this up for about 15 minutes until I could tell he was about to cry. Good times, good times.
