If the Tree Free Zone continues it's downward spiral into a perpetual conservative/liberal dogfight, I might stop checking in to see what's new.


I think it's safe to say those who feel a certain way, will continue to feel that certain way, and the other people who do not feel a certain way, will probably never be persuaded to feel a certain way.


We could leave it at that. Couldn't we?


Cause seriously, what's going on in all of the current threads is not DEBATE. It's just two sides taking jabs, sometimes bringing real points to the table, but more often than not ending in "I can see Russia from my porch" or "I have not sullied your good name, sir, please refrain from besmirching mine"






Also let it be known that I have love for all you guys and girls, and there is always room at my campfire for a more somber (but definitely not sober) debate of current events.

Lately there has been a big shift in the TB post weight. The Tree Free Zone has accounted for a lot of the signal mass...but it's up to you all to decide how much is just noise.

There are plenty of discussions that could just as well go off line, use the PMs.

After reading this morning about the icy welcome in the State House of Alaska for Sarah Palin's belated return to address the business of manning the helm, I've concluded that the best thing to do when hammering-out philosophic differences isn't thru public forum or debate process...but just to let be what Forrest Gump so wisely stated time and again, "Stupid is what stupid does".

Then go from there.
