STOLEN gear

If anyone in the Charlotte area spots someone selling a crusty old Petzl Navahoe, a 60 meter HTP static, and two ropes bags, random used lockers.....SLAP the shat outta em', then steal it back for me!!!!

I wouldn't bet the bank on that.

Sorry to hear, John. :(

John got his gear stolen from a Food Lion parking lot, and it sucks that it had to happen this weekend.

If I see some hobo walking around with a crusty Navajo harness on, I'll roll him just for you, No_Biv.

See you at WWC in a couple of weeks!

I forgot to mention the location Stephan...sorry. I doubt anyone at a comp would steal gear. If you find the hobo, take him climbing...then accidently drop his rope, leaving him stranded in the top of a tree for a few days.

They were pro's...They popped the actual lock core outta the drivers side door somehow.

Actually it's not that hard to pop a lock out when you have a bam-bam tool AKA Dent puller with a screw in the end. We've done it before on a pad lock some one lost the key to.

I bet the mofo could be baited back at the next rugby match......... he/she will have the BIG EYES when they see some giant rugby players running across the parking lot to kick thier a$$!!!!!!!

no bivy. Check ebay out for a Navaho saddle. They are selling 3 of them for 250 with a bunch of other gear including helmets (vertex I believe) and a bunch of biners. All in all 3 complete climbing setups. Hope this helps brother

This brings up a question. How many guys have their equipment insured. Is there any good inexpensive insurance for those with their own personal gear?

Hope you get your gear back

Mine is insured. It's a specific amount so I don't have to keep adding or subtracting specific from the schedule. If I add a bunch of new stuff I'll call the agent and tell her to bump the coverage up a grand.
Regards,
Phil
