Along with the MS201T, I also have experience with the MS150TC. This tiny saw is a feather weight with only a 7 pound power head. In stock form, the saw is not powerful enough for much more than light trimming. With the same mods that I do to the MS201T, the tiny MS150TC really comes to life. I have arborists actually using these for takedowns! The mods make a world of difference in these little saws. The 1/4" chain cuts as smooth as butter and is very effective for the job. These aren't to be used like a hammer, but hold up quite well considering how light they are. Because they are so light, they don't seem to get beat up like the larger/heavier MS201T. For those that would benefit from a lighter saw, I highly recommend trying these out.

This is a stock MS150TC.

NICE! You're reputation spans the globe. I believe I can safely say that everyone on Treebuzz covets a saw that has been doctored by you. Many have them already.

The second clip states that the timing has been advanced; has it been ported as well?

Did you and Randy decide who would port it first? I thought for sure it would be a clam shell. Since it isn't, there has to be some sort of unspoken rule that says it has to be ported?

My legs are intact after 40 years of treework.

I;ve done plenty of ground felling and base cuts with tophandled saws too.

To me...its procedure and care that keeps people from being injured. Less so the tools.

Uuuuh... Now, I may not know much about saws since I do more lawn care than anything, but isn't it just a tiny bit of an INSANELY bad idea to use a top handle saw to fell a tree? Well, guess you don't really NEED BOTH legs...

It's really not. If used properly there is no more chance of injury than with a rear handle.

that vid was made by one of brads unhappy customers, not by me.
take it for what it is.
Funny how they never contacted me about it. Any saw that has ever come back to me has been made right, the very few that there have been. I'll pose this question to you. Has every saw you've ever built been faster than every saw everyone else built? The answer is no. I've personally beat some of your saws myself. BIG DEAL! Get over yourself already. And leave this forum alone. They don't need your petty behavior.
