Stein

Just got the Stein's throwline folding cube for $25 and it looks awesome compared to how much I paid for my Sherril brand folding cube at $62. It looks like its going to hold up great as well.
On another note I finally found someone that sales the Pfanner Stretch Air suspenders. The only downside was the price tag.

The Stein cube has a weakness and I don't have an idea for fixing it yet.

It does have plastic tips on the fiberglass stays whick keep them from punching through... but they aren't glued on and there's enough room for'em come off.

I wish I could inject some kind of glue into the caps through the fabric or something.

I know how to fix it. Get a Faltheimer. I've had the same one for 3-4 years and its still way better than any other cube.

All those cheap cubes have the same construction problems.

I second that. I've had mine for 4 years with no problems.

stein and cheaper cubes are perfect for back up throw lines. i have a sherrill one still kicking after 4 years of light use

my faltheimer bag is just straight nasty. It still looks as good as the day i bought it and its been through hell and back

Faltheimer all the way for me, best cube or throwline holder I've owned.

For $25 you cant go worng, what a great deal!

Faltheimer for past 5 years here, looks a lil rough, buit no holes! Its been thrown out of plenty of trees, kicked, chipped on top of, dragged around, soaked, left in the sun, buried in snow, etc.

Great product!

Ive had my faltheimer since ITCC 2005 finally poked a hole in it. Its been beat up hard too.

I've had the rubber tips come off one of the fiberglass rods in my Stein cube. I was able to slip it back on and no problems since I agree with Blinky that it really needs to be glued in place.

Who carries the Pfanner suspenders???
