I guess, I should update a bit. This is my current fav TIP with a Delta. It can be set/retrieved remotely, even in-tree. It also makes moving the TIP very easy.

Did you tie the other end of your rope to the delta link (for retrieval)? I just ordered a rope wrench kit and it came with the delta link, I have never used it before.

I'm pretty sure all of these configurations with the pully as the main hardware is not proper use of the pully because the rope is trying to pull the pully over the limb. The one with the pully after the alpine butter fly is much better. It reduces the friction with ought the risk of side loading the Biner.
