Definetly not a sewn eye.

A spliced eye on skinny rope might. I have a Yale Prism with a spliced eye that would fit if it didn't have a plastic sleeve over the lock stitching. But it's tight.

The Teufelberger slaice the Petzl Flow eye splice both fit.

How does the sizing run the pfanner jacket? I'm 5'6" 160-165 lbs. and a littler bigger in the chest. If the jacket tends to run big I might get it. Its hard to gamble on clothes though.

I have a Pfanner jacket that I believe is a medium. It doesn't not run large. This would be an expensive way to reenact the scene from Tommy Boy with Chris Farley and David Spade's jacket. "Big guy in a little coat!"

Though the fabric is stretchy and durable enough that i don't think you would tear it.

I think they run true to size. I am 5'10" and have a slender frame and usually wear a 40 long in a suit coat because my arms are slightly long. This jacket is comfortably snug but not tight. I could wear a base layer under it but nothing more, however it is stretchy like Ryan said. Lengthwise, it's plenty long in the arms and torso, coming down to my hips and butt so that my harness fits over it and holds it in place.

If it's long on you it'll probably fit me like a dress haha. Maybe if I tried it on first, but it's too much of a gamble for the money. It's a good looking jacket though. Red and black are my colors.
