This is awesome, but really not good for me. I have been waiting for this for some time now. However it couldn't have come at a worse time. I'm starting a new job and will not be able to get time off!!! What a bummer.

Anyway you could schedule something in New England???

YESSSSSSS here I come. Just to clarify. What time do the classes start on the 2nd? trying to figure time line a such.

In memory of Curtis Mayfield.....he would be touched.....

Well it looks like we are already in around 4 guys already. SWEET!

To answer the time question. We usually get going at around 8 if my memory serves correctly. Some guys show up earlier to get a jump start, but it seems like 8 is a pretty reasonable time.

Typically we get done around 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Then usually there are a few splicing die hards that can't get enough and hang out for more, but a lot of guys head to the tree for some climb time until the sun sets, then we grab some dinner.

Last SSS I went to we worked sweat shop hours. 6am breakfast, 630 splice, 12 lunch, 1230 splice, done by 8pm.

Oh the horrors. A rough schedule with a mild hangover after a 12 hour drive (tears forming) we lost a lot of....(steady tears now, attempt to choke back is futile) good men that weekend. The horror, the madness.

I know Rich is a bloody slave driver. By the end of the last day I was begging for mercy.

If I can pull it off it will be my FIRST one! Hope to see you all there. The Midwest event is that same following weekend furthering Rich's point that we really need a TCC Commissioner to coordinate and stagger chapter events around each other and form a volunteer availability network and newsletter. Oops...shutting up now. Whiz

Dear Whiz...

If you make it over here for this that would be AWESOME!!!

You might as well...we can use your enthusiasm and first class skills at TCC as well!

Hope you can make it!
