Just a little more info; core was removed from the cover at the 24 x diameter of rope mark (24 x 1/2 = 12"), cover was tapered starting approximately 2 diameters or 1" from mark where strand was pulled out. Toss wand was inserted 14 diameters (approx. 7" from where core was removed) and exited 2 diameters (1") past the pulled strand mark. Core was not tapered before the bury. A slight taper on the last 3 inches was done before the final core bury. We were able to start forming the eye by using hand tension and milking the cover. The last few inches of closing the eye needed more the hand tension, had to use the block and tackle to set the tension while milking the cover up the the pulled strand mark.
