Splice 16 strand 7/16

I recently found some 7/16, 16 strand on rope and knot supply co. and was wondering if any one has spliced any of it yet. Or had any reviews

You must be talking about the Neopro by all gear. It is bomb proof stuff and it's been my main climbing line since the first run stuff. I have no quams about natural crotching it. As far as the splice what are you looking to do with it? Climb line, lanyard, friction saver? I have done all three and best I can tell you is the new stuff splices like a dream if you're into 16 strand. The first run stuff was a nightmare but you can't beat it and no problems to splice. If you have problems there is a trick but I don't see any problems.

Climber thanks for the info, it is neopro and I was looking to add it as my climbing line so I would probably splice an eye on each end. Is the splice a standerd 16 strand splice like with hi vee or blue streak?

The taper I believe is a little different. I will have to go through my notes to double check and get back to you. As far as splicing both ends. Not the best of ideas as it milks. If you milk it all out you might not have much of a problem but it does milk substantially.
