Speed-line job

Its nice to see all the ppe, but something is confusing. Why bother speedlining if you're just gonna slam the wood and tops anyway? Nice work on the vid though.

We were trying to save ourselves having to haul the brush across the creek. After it was completed, we all agreed we could have dropped them across the creek just as easily. But the upside was many were impressed by the speed-line and we earned a lot of respect from the client. They were impressed and we've had repeat work there ever since.

lot of people there i would hope other work was being done
around the property.
we have a winch on our chipper which makes speed lining
much easier and eficiant

not to mention that these things are great to practice on jobs where you have time. Dont want the 1st time to be the one over the glass greenhouse or cemetery plot.

agree...seemed pointless for the speed lining

Nice job running the GRCS, Adrian!

I noticed your ground team had the fiddle block rigged to disadvantage. So their output was 4:1 instead of the 5:1. Was this done purposely?

thanks for editing and posting a video.

it takes a lot of work!

please continue to do more.

I've been working on one i hope you all will enjoy, it showcases videos to come.

Nice work on that job and the video. Seemed like all collateral damage was minimal, if present.

Good thoughts on getting practice/ training during a non-crucial job.

I agree that it wasn't necessary, but then neither are chainsaws. I'd rather use gravity that work perpendicular to it, or against it up a running creek crossing.
