gaaah!! I won't have the money for a few weeks, but I would love to get one for the rope the company I just started working for is gonna make me use. They say only 1/2" ropes, so a ZZ will have to live on it til the rope dies.

That’s an interesting policy. Care to share/elaborate why?

it's just that the 1/2" ropes just barely go on when the rope is fresh. I have had a really hard time threading a broken in 1/2"er into the zz, so I will just dedicate one to that rope until the end of service life.

@Matias oh, sorry. I thought it was a company policy only 1/2” ropes could be used for climbing…
Oh that part is company policy. At least, that's what they said in the contract, but I saw a little piece of Blue Moon laying around in the warehouse, so I am still holding on to the hope for them to be reasonable about that policy. I can't understand why it should be the case. If a rope is rated for arb use, it shouldn't matterto the company what diameter it is.

Not your fault. USPS here has been terrible. I think it is the local office too. I have had several small packages like that that took 3 and 4 days to deliver when they were at the local office.

At least you guys have a functioning postal service. Ours have been on strike going on 4 weeks now. I'm very happy that only perhaps 0.1% of my clients pay via mail.

Yeah. I ordered a Flint knapping kit from the States weeks ago for my son for Christmas. It's stuck in a warehouse somewhere with no end to the strike in sight. So now I'm making a thing with a copper nail and a stick
