I bought these about 2 years ago from Treestuff, and have climbed in them maybe 4-5 hours tops.

I know a lot fo people prefer pole gaffs, but I feel much more comfortable on tree gaffs. Nothin wrong with these at all.

They are replaceable - the most recent pin and two bolts version. I actually have a set of tree gaffs that fit, but of course they end up sticking about 3/4" below the sole on these shanks.
