What size rope for the rigging Ben? Looked a bit large compared to what I’m used to. It is Sunday night though and I’ve had a few drinks. Could be standard. Lovely video by the way.

Nice Ben, I’m curious as well about that Wirecore flipline. What kind of adjuster do you have? When the cover starts coming off mine I have to retire them, my Gibbs won’t grab.

thank you Treebilly,
the rigging line is 5/8 dynasorb, really could be getting away with using 9/16 it that situation but 5/8 is what I got so 5/8 is what I use.
it is exceeding what the ISC small green block is designed to run but it does fit the block sheeve (just) :sorprendido3:
the Euc is probally as dense as say English Oak but heavier so a good safety margin on the rigging lines MWL isn't such a bad thing with not much room to run the pieces in the lower canopy section.

How did you have the video camera mounted? One seems to be a helmet cam. Is there another on your saddle?

Hello ATH,
I have both cameras - a helmet mount and a go pro on a Jaw clamp.
allows me to gain two perspectives on certain areas and in editing decide which one works better for the flow of the video.

Hi Dan,
That flipline is an Aussie company originally meant for linesman working on utility poles.
the lanyard is a wire outer braid (stainless steel coated with plastic in the braiding process over braided wire core also stainless.).
I generally choose it during takedowns due to its material strength and durability - also has a limited cut resistant factor.
It tends to wear down into a flatter shape rather than fraying over time and with wear but the multiple keys in the cam continue to grab it even with the shape/diameter change.
I will get some photos for you and post them on TB for ya.

Thankyou CanadianStan,
(love the west coast of your country by the way- didn't get to the east side unfortunately )

Don’t bother with the east side, it’s terrible :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Do you have any photos of what that attachment looks like ? I’d love to get a harness mount or dorsal mount extending arm
