that's a great picture, would make a nice poster. So where did you guys take that photo? I grew up 20 miles south of Eureka, right off of 101 (hwy36). It is good to see pics of the trees. Says in your bio you live in Chico, what a fun town..........$1 pints any day of the week.

Freemanruss.You must have grown up in Fortuna ? Alton, Carlotta, Hydsville. One of those places , right?. I grew up in Ferndale. The picture here in this forum was taken in Bidwell PArk. Since I work for the city of Chico, I'm lucky enough to know where all the big trees are and the fun ones to climb are. However, I live in Magalia a 40 min drive from Chico. I cant tell you what a pint cost these days, been to long since I hit the bars...lol...
