I know that someone out there will be able to help me. What I am looking for is some information regarding safety regs when using a sky lift,ie what to use and what not to use.
Also it would be help full to find out some European laws regarding this matter too.

Hi Mr Jonny
What I´m really after is do you have to were a full body harness when you are using a lift. A friend of mine is doing a big lift job and I would like to find out for him, its form clipping with hegde trimmers.

Hi Doug,

HSE states "A work positioning system attached inside the platform" So this would mean
A harness that conforms to EN 358 / 813 I think the idea is to stop you falling out rather than absorbing the energy from a fall "Prevention is better than cure"
