We have these on the way right now.

The Climbing Pants are non-chainsaw protective.

The same model (Progress) comes with chainsaw protection also.

I cant speak for Sherrill, but we will be stocking both.

That maybe not much help to those of you in the US though....

But great news for Aussies!

For the record I think the foresterwear knock offs a garbage and have a poor fit. I have and like the new arborwear streach tech although it seems to me that they run large and have just a bit to much fabric for a streach pant. I just got some Sip Progress and I love them and the fit like a glove, it just sucks that sherrill has to silkscreen their logo down the leg, not very classy. Also got a pair of the gladiators from fanner a few weeks ago, they are hot for texas but no hotter than a pair of carhart or arborwear cotten dubble knee pant and that is preety good for chainsaw pants here in texas, in the summer. The range of movement is about the same too. For my money I would have to say that you can't beat a pair of Arborwear nylon tech pants to get the job done in the summer. Now to boots, If anyone is looking for a good brand try Danner, I'm curently wearing a pair of their pronhorns as my climbing boots and they are working out just great! Also, why is Sherrill the only one with sips and phanner in the US?

We have them without the logo. In Australia though.... however with your dollar it'd probably work out the same.

SIP rules for chainsaw protective pants and climbing pants.
I've both SIP progres and Pfanner gladiator and the SIP is my favorit. I've had about 6 pfanner stretch pants worn down because they tend to grow in every way because off the stretch that loosens during treework.

Havent got this problem with the sip pants!

To bad they don't sell the SIP climbing (no chainsaw protection) pants in extra lenght.
I'm used to XS + 7 with the pfanner pants....

SIP pants are worth well their monney and last untill they are really broke.

Nevic,

I don't disagree with your silk screen sentiment. It will stop in the near future when we run out of a large summer order. We had to do all or none (at the manufacturer) for the first batch to supply sponsored climbers including 2010 ITCC champion Jared Abrojena and all trainers from North American Training Solutions, ArborMaster and Arboriculture Canada.

Tobe, I can see why you would want your logo on them espechally if your the sol importer. The the small stitched logo on the pocket of the pfanner britches is just alot classier. When you start geting new orders it would be great if you got the whole color range. I'd personally like a pair of the green ones.
