Show off them splices

Pretty cool. What kind of bungie and how did you anchor it at each end?
Both have two legs of bungee as a core. They are 3/16" I think. One is hardware store stuff, the other is dyneema and its way better.
Both are looped through on one end like this:

At the other end on the green one both legs come out of the cover and are scaffold knotted around the cover. Then shrink wrapped.
On the black lanyard both legs are extracted from the cover on opposite sides then one leg passes through the body like the other end. Then I tied them together in a double fishermans to make the bungee a loop. The braid of the BranchSaver was loose enough that I could rotate the whole loop and suck the knot back inside and bury it. I might have been able to do the same with the 24 strand but really didn't even try.

First splice Yale Aztec still need to whip it

There appears to be a bit of twist in the eye, and a little bit of slack between the core and sheath of the eye as well. But the taper is the biggest issue. Maybe not enough core strands cut off at a greater angle? Just seems bulky in the throat. But, that's just my opinion. For a 1st time splice you did good!

Yea I don't have the best scissors so there wasn't much of an angle cut on the core but got some good scissors on the way

Thoughts? Equal amount or rope and bury around the rings to the exit point, then (not finished in the picture) a locking Brummel and taper the bury. I haven't done this one before, just looking for any feedback as to good or what the hell are you thinking.....

Where did you get that whipping twine?

What is a 'hybrid' device?

Sorry if that was not clear. By "hybrid device" I was referring to multiscenders like the Hitch Hiker, Rope Runner, and Bulldog Bone. If it will be clearer I will use the term "multiscender" in the future.
