Sherrill - Sequoia replacement rings NOT

Sherrill catalog said $15 for replacement sequoia rings.
Sherrill website shows picture of new sequoia rings with
new bolt.

Just got my order and called them, only to find out they
don't have those. So the picture on sherrill website, and what I ordered was this...

I'm sure they'll refund your money and shipping. Bummer.

I wonder if the mistake was that they shipped you the wrong rings (meaning, they DO have the right rings, but shipped you the other ones) or if the mistake was that they put the wrong picture on the website (meaning they don't even have the rings you wanted at all).

Let us know how this finishes up.

My convo with the rep produced no such rings available.

Asked about pic on website, no help and doesn't know.

I'd previously seen the RING-S on Petzls website, searched
on-line distributors to no avail. I said "cut me a deal so
you don't have to pay shipping, make a sale, and fortify
a customer. I had received 2 at 15 a piece, so they
redeposited 15, called it good, and put a

So they gave you the two wrong rings for free? That actually seems quite fair.

Now you gotta let us know what you make out of the new rings. My suggestion: Splice an eye eye sling with a new ring on one side, and a d-shaped biner on the other. Viola!...Friction saver.

Nah- I think you just can't buy replacement rings straight from sherrill. I haven't heard anything that says petzl is no longer making the harness with permanent rings.
