Share Your Ion Air Pro Action Camera Videos in Tree or on Ground

I am curious to see what other footage using the Ion Air Pro Models footage maybe from your personal collection via FB or even Youtube. I will start with mine and its my first time using an action cam. I finally am hands free. I am just curious to see what you guys were able to capture and get some pointers especially since most people use the Go-Pros.

when reading between the lines Treeboi, what we are saying is your good enough to climb without the spurs man. ditch em' for pruning, no good for the tree. rely on your ropes and positioning, you got it.
the spur marks are an unnecessary open wound on the tree which is a possible point of decay. plus in the wrong time of year some trees bleed real bad, can look pretty unsightly. like i said you looked comfortable enough to be getting to where you want on the tree and positioning yourself to work without spurs. get yourself a foot ascender or beast your way up with hip thrusting. try it out one of these days.

Yep, I saw spurs. Is it just me or should a 394 rip through small chunks like that a lot faster?

As for the rest. Edit dude. That could have been a 5 minute vid.
I adjusted the rakers and its grabby the first couple times but other than that it was cutting fine, but I had to rebuild it with a new cylinder and meteor pistons because I was sawing and spark plug tip broke off inside jug which made me very angry but what can you expect from an oregon spark plug which was the only choice for replacement at that time.

Please read the description in the video and it should sum things up.

oh yeah here is my latest edit and sorry for the delay in my response but between eBay, craigs, youtube, Facebook, Arboristsite, and work it sometimes takes me awhile to get back around but I climb fine with or without spikes. This one could have been bore cut but decided to use conventional cut and the rest is history...

You think your saw lanyard was long enough?lol

I was going to splice me a lanyard cord a little shorter than this one but its a 7ft petal grillion lanyard strap and I decided I like more even though its a little lengthy but for the various trees I climb between freelance climbing and running my own business it serves its purpose like refueling being that my lanyards are nearly 20ft add 7ft and thats about 20-25ft up and I can send my saw down and save myself a lot of climbing and time.

Yep but this was actually believe it or not the first time many of my youtube buddies seen me climb a tree without using my phone or at all being that I did not have the cams or anyone else willing to film some good shots. However, it was a good preview to more to come but normally I try to keep them shorter if its just me working trying to keep it interesting like that large oak was being that it had such a heavy lean which explained why I tied in as much to hold my position in this removal.
