Evocative? Yes!
Erotic? Probably not.
Sexist? No way.
Here's a test of whether it is an ad or ad-nography. Do you remember what the product is and what it does? Or what you would like to be doing with the eye-candy.
I agree with the principle of the "leading others into sin" But, and here is a big "but" that always gets me into an argument. While the principle of the Matt 18 rule applies to humanity, we who accept the Bible can only hold other believers accountable to it.
If you accept that Bible's game plan then you are clearly commanded to live in the world but not conform to it. Read Romans 12:2 and live your life accordingly. Then and only then will you truly be able to change hearts and minds of those who have not accepted that plan.
Meantime, if you produce such material and you are a follower of Christ then you are very much likely to be violating the principle found in Matt 18:6.
Should we condone such things? Probably not. But then again, how are ballet, gymnastics, ice dancing , synchronized swimming any different from dancing on ropes?
After all don't they use clinging costumes, spread legs and the human form put on display?
Sure there is some overt sensuality in this video and if that is enough to send you astray, then don't watch.
There are plenty of folks who can be led astray by a woman wearing a birka, does that mean we should condemn the makers of birkas?
Does this video lead you astray? Don't watch. Could it lead your brother astray? Don't mention it to him.
Want to further the cause of Christ? Don't hammer or judge others. Meet them where they are and develop a relationship of integrity.
After all isn't that what Christ himself did.
