Individually, fire, drought and insects don't kill sequoia but all three together do.

Yep... Seen it with my own eyes....The Pines are the kingpin of the Sierra eco system and their demise is spelling big trouble for the remaining Firs, Cedars, and Sequoia's.. I have a good buddy who is doing much of the dead tree logging and removal work in Yosemite and he is seeing some good size Sequoia removals from time to time......

Hopefully the Chinese will end their climate change hoax before all these wonders of the world are gone.....
