SANIBEL, Fla. -- Authorities say a man in west Florida was electrocuted while attempting to trim a tree.
Sanibel Police Chief Bill Tomlinson says David Lewis, 42, of Cape Coral, was electrocuted Wednesday on Sanibel.
Tomlinson says Lewis owned a tree service. While in the tree, Lewis cut a tree branch which fell and struck a power line.
Authorities say Lewis was pronounced dead on the scene.
